GoPlay

When Music and RPGs Synch Up

I'm reviewing Pandora's Book (Promethean) right now, and it happens that I'm listening to Garbage (95). "As Heaven Is Wide" starts playing, which is oddly appropriate for Pandorans.

"if flesh could crawl
my skin would fall
from off my bones and run away from here
as far from god
as heaven is wide
as far from god
as angels can fly"

The book also discusses the Qashmallim, which are very similar to angels. :)

Of course, the Pandorans would eat the Promethean first *then* run off somewhere.

And my pockets are barren

Purchased books for four of six legal courses I'm taking this semester. Cost: $650. Every single class is using new books. What is my reading load for the first day of this new semester? 220+ pages of legal text must be read by day one. Sometimes folk ask why I can read and review RPGs so quickly. It's because all I do is read critically :(

For anyone with an idle interest, here's my current load:

CRIMINAL TRIAL PROCESS
EVIDENCE
PATENT LAW
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY DRAFTING
CHILDREN AND THE LAW
COPYRIGHT LAW

And my pockets are less barren.

Beware the hotties that flirt with you while you spend hundreds of dollars. They may ring up your $16.50 book for $165.00 and, being accustomed to insane book prices, you may pay it without batting an eyelash.

So I get to go and get $150 back, which still makes my books insanely expensive but somewhat less so.
